About This Role

Maverick Air Conditioning is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our office team. You'll be the backbone of our daily operations — keeping things organized, supporting our technicians in the field, and making sure our customers have a great experience from the first phone call to the final invoice.

This is a great fit for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and genuinely enjoys helping people. HVAC industry experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person.

What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming calls, greet customers, and schedule service appointments and installations
  • Coordinate daily technician schedules and dispatch service calls
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and payments
  • Manage customer records and maintain accurate job files
  • Follow up on estimates, work orders, and customer inquiries
  • Assist with new construction project coordination and documentation
  • Order parts, supplies, and equipment as needed
  • Support warranty registration and equipment documentation for customers
  • Handle general office duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence
  • Assist with marketing efforts such as social media posts, customer reviews, and promotional materials as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
  • Proficiency with computers — comfortable with email, spreadsheets, and learning new software
  • Professional, friendly demeanor with a customer-first attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in an HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction office
  • Familiarity with scheduling/dispatch software (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, or similar)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience with social media management or basic marketing
  • Knowledge of HVAC terminology and equipment brands

Work Environment

This is an in-office position at our St. George location. Standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility needed during peak seasons (summer cooling and winter heating). The role is primarily desk-based with standard office conditions.
